Looking that that option, I'd say is just as bad as not taking it all out. By giving the turbo's that much more room to push the exhaust air out and slamming into yet another brick in the line ( main cats ), that air would most likely push back into the turbo exhaust blades causing them to turbulence and slowing there pushing progress. I always say if you can, go downpipes and testpipes for the best results here. Very smooth and clean bends in the pipes, makes spooling just about effortless. The driverside pre-cat alone is just sad to even look at. Drop a pre-cat down one time and see how much that damn thing weights,,,,,lol. Sad,,, just sad.
